COURSE INFORMATION
Duration: T1 1/2 day
T2 1/2 day
T1 & T2 refresher tests - test duration only (Learners completing refresher tests require a current unexpired 12D M1/M2 RTMO skill as a minimum) Delivery Method: Classroom
Prerequisites: Learners must have completed the Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course (TTMBC) if new to the industry or if they do not hold other current NHSS 12ABCD TTM skills registration cards/certificates (excluding 12D M7). Learners completing refresher tests require a current unexpired 12D M1/M2 RTMO skill as a minimum. IMPORTANT NOTE: M2 status MUST be maintained. An EXPIRED M2 skills registration card will invalidate skills
On completion of these training courses learners should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of:Â
Health and Safety at work and how risk assessments and method statements impact on work duties
Relevant codes of practice and other associated documentation when involved in temporary traffic management
The equipment required in Temporary Traffic Management, and legal obligations when placing equipment on the highway
The requirements for Mobile and Short duration works
Different methods of both passive and positive traffic control
The principles involved when dealing with roundabouts, road closures and diversions
