The CPCS/NPORS Red Trained Operator card is valid for 2 years, during which time you are required to undertake the relevant plant NVQ to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operator Card. On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CPCS/NPORS tests and the CITB HS&E test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the Blue CPCS/NPORS card.

Minimum Credit Value: 21 Reference: 601/4999/1

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 21 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 2 mandatory units plus 1 unit from the optional unit group.
